Taking a Leap of Faith

I am on a journey to help other moms remember who they are. To help them take time for themselves and find their passion. To have a place to come to for support and motivation when they need it.

There are plenty of blogs, articles, and books, which focus on the mom and the relationship with her child and spouse. However, there are very few that address the Mom as a person.

While I am learning what I need to do to help you more, I am also working on my self. After all, how can I help you if I am not living what I am going to be teaching?

I have heard from many of you, asking when I am going have an event, to have a place to feel encouraged, supported, and motivated. While I keep toying with the idea, I have never fully committed to an event, as I did not feel like I had enough to offer you.

There is so much I feel like I need to do and have in place before I do an event. Like have a website for moms to go to, a product that will be helpful to you, and for me to have the ability to articulate what my message is.

Now let’s also add in my mom responsibilities. How am I going to learn all of this and put it together while I continue to home school my children and work at my husband’s office?

Honestly, the thought stresses me out! It will take me years to put all that together on my own and I am tired of trying to piece meal it all together.

So I have taken the advice of many guru’s and am taking that leap of faith.

This Sunday, I am beginning a speaker immersion program with a man by the name of Topher Morrision. It’s called his Legacy program and only 10 people are picked to participate each year.

For the next two weeks, everyday, I will be learning how to speak in front of a group, putting content together for M.O.M. and so much more!

This is going to be a HUGE investment in my time, money, and my self. To say I am nervous is an understatement! At times I feel like I am going to be sick. You know the feeling of going into the unknown. That’s exactly what I am doing.

However, sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zones and take those huge leaps of faith in order to move forward and make things happen.

Is there something in your life that you have wanted to do but have been putting it off?

Do you know that you will be a better person for doing it?

Have you been making excuses?

Are you ready to take that leap of faith?

There is no time like the present to find a way to start your journey and make it happen!

Make a list of what you want, research it, and connect with the people in that field. You will be surprised by what changes will happen in your life!!
